Zipper Repair and Care

Join us at our workshop in Y Felinheli for an introduction to all things zip repair.

Our number one repair request is always zips, but there are plenty of DIY tips and tricks you can use at home to repair your zips and keep your gear going for longer. We recommend bringing items needing zip repairs, or something you are happy to practice on.

What you’ll Learn:

  • Types of zips and their uses

  • Tools for zip repairs

  • How to diagnose your zip issues

  • How to replace a slider on a variety of items

  • Common issues and top tips for zipper care

Workshop Includes:

  • 2 hour interactive session

  • Live demos of slider replacements

  • A practice sampler to work on

  • All materials provided (optional: bring your own item to discuss and practice on)

  • tea and coffee

This class has a maximum of 10 attendees, with one instructor. Please let us know if you have any specific learning requirements. Please note we will not be doing full zip replacements.

All materials are provided. No experience needed.

    It will start at 17:15 and finish at 19:15.

  • If, for any reason, you either need to cancel your booking, please let us know by email (info@snowdoniagearrepair.co.uk) at the earliest possible time. 

    If the cancellation is over 7 days before the start date of the course we will provide a full refund.

    If the cancellation is 7 days or less before the start date of the course, you will not receive a refund unless we are able to fill the space.
