This beginner-friendly class will teach you the essential stitches and techniques needed to fix common clothing issues—no machine required. Perfect for anyone wanting to extend the life of their wardrobe with simple, effective repairs.

What you’ll Learn:

  • Basic hand stitches

  • How to choose the right thread, needle, and technique for different fabrics

  • Hands-on practice with your own sampler to take home

Workshop Includes:

  • 2 hour interactive session

  • Live demos of basic stitches

  • A practice sampler to work on and take home

  • All materials provided (optional: bring your own item to discuss and practice on)

This class has a maximum of 6 attendees, with one instructor. Please let us know if you have any specific learning requirements

You’ll leave with practical repair skills, a sampler for future reference, and the knowledge to extend the life of your wardrobe—one stitch at a time.

No sewing experience needed. Just bring your enthusiasm and a love for well-worn clothes.

  • This course will be held on Thursday 18th of September 2025.

    It will start at 17:15 and finish at 19:15.

  • If, for any reason, you either need to cancel your booking, please let us know by email (info@snowdoniagearrepair.co.uk) at the earliest possible time. 

    If the cancellation is over 7 days before the start date of the course we will provide a full refund.

    If the cancellation is 7 days or less before the start date of the course, you will not receive a refund unless we are able to fill the space.
