Introduction to darning
Join us at our workshop in Y Felinheli for an introduction to darning.
Darning is one of the oldest forms of repairs, and is a great way to maintain and even strengthen base layers, woolens and stretch garments.
In this 2 hour workshop, we will look at types of tools and threads/wools to use for darning. We’ll run through 2 basic darning methods and look at how they can be used for a variety of repairs.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and intermediate sewing enthusiasts or knitters looking to learn more about mending.
All materials will be provided, just bring your own item of clothing or outdoor gear to mend.
Tea and coffee will be available during the workshop

If the cancellation is over 7 days before the start date of the course we will provide a full refund.
If the cancellation is 7 days or less before the start date of the course, you will not receive a refund unless we are able to fill the space.
