Sew & Seal Waterproof Patches

£24.00

Master the basic skills to sew a professional patch on your waterproof garment.

This beginner-friendly class will teach you the essential hand-stitching and seam sealing techniques needed to fix rips and tears in waterproof jackets, trousers, and salopettes. Perfect for getting your waterproofs back in action and water tight.

What you’ll Learn:

  • How to work with waterproof fabrics

  • How to choose the right thread, needle, seam tapes, and sealants for waterproof garments

  • How to stitch and seam-seal a patch onto your waterproofs

Workshop Includes:

  • 2 hour interactive session

  • Live demos

  • Top spec waterproof materials for your patch

  • All other materials provided (optional: bring your own item to repair or discuss)

You’ll leave with practical repair skills and the knowledge to extend the life of your wardrobe—one stitch at a time.

No sewing experience needed. Just bring your enthusiasm, a waterproof garment, and a love for well-worn clothes. This class has a maximum of 7 attendees, with one instructor. Please let us know if you have any specific learning requirements

    Parking is available on site

  • This course will be held on Tuesday, the 14th of April.

    It will start at 17:15 and finish at 19:15.

  • If, for any reason, you either need to cancel your booking, please let us know by email (info@snowdoniagearrepair.co.uk) at the earliest possible time. 

    If the cancellation is over 7 days before the start date of the course we will provide a full refund.

    If the cancellation is 7 days or less before the start date of the course, you will not receive a refund unless we are able to fill the space.
